Amateur radio isn't really about getting operating awards and certificates, but hey it's fun. This one was easy, but you have to start somewhere. All I had to do was to confirm one satellite contact. ![]() This award requires that you contact 20 different U.S. states or Canadian call areas or DXCC countries. ![]() This award requires that you make at least 1000 two-way satellite contacts. I recently recieved an endorsement for making 2,000 contacts. ![]() This award requires that you contact 60 different U.S. states or Canadian call areas or DXCC countries. ![]() Here you have to make one satellite contact with any station in 100 different grid squares. I currently have endorsements for 250 grids. ![]() This award is available if you provide evidence that you have made 25 contacts through any Phase II satellites. ![]() While portable in the Walmart parking lot in Clinton, AR, I was able to contact Susan Helms of the Expedition 2 crew. This contact was on 7 July 2001. ![]() This one took be quite some time to achieve. Some of the states just don't have many satellite operators in this. The final state I needed was Wyoming and that was QSL's by N7SFI while traveling. ![]() |
